| The YMCA College of Physical Education is a pioneer venturing in the promotion of Tennis in India. It has 12 well-laid tennis courts and one turf court, blossomed as one of the finest schools of tennis in the country and produced tennis stars in different levels. Aims and ObjectivesTo promote and improve the standard of the game of tennis among the public of this sports-loving city, and to conduct a School of Tennis, which will provide facilities to youngsters irrespective of caste, creed or religion. To train/coach deserving players on International standards, and to organize Tennis Clinics & specialized courses for those who wish to make "Tennis Teaching" a career. To afford facilities for the students and the staff of YMCA College of Physical Education, Chennai to study the various methodologies & technologies for training of players of different age groups, and development of coaches for the game of tennis. |  |
